Welcome to Bookham Baptist Church!

We are a community of Christians from the local area of Bookham, Effingham, Fetcham, Leatherhead and beyond. Our church family seeks to be inclusive and caters for all ages and stages of life, from 0-100+

Our services are for everyone: whether you’re just looking, never been before, haven’t been for a while or go to church every week; whether life’s good, bad or so-so. God’s love is for everyone, and the core message of our faith is one of good news and hope.

Sunday 10.30am (Livestream)

The church will be open from 10.20am, and at 10.30am the service leader will begin the service with some live ‘All Age’ worship and an introduction to theme and scripture. Our children & youth will then leave to attend their groups (find out more about our children & youth work here) as the main service continues with further live worship and a sermon, along with some time for sharing of spiritual gifts.
We will share communion on the first Sunday of each month and each 5th Sunday will be an All Age service where all remain in the sanctuary for the duration of the service.
The service will be livestreamed via Zoom and the sermon will be available via YouTube.

Join us in the building at 6pm each Sunday for a ‘cafe’ style service. Beginning with refreshments the service leader will open at 6.15pm. A contemporary service with live music.

Thursday Communion

Our sanctuary is open 10-11am on Thursdays for a reflective service with prayer and communion
The service will open in prayer, with space for reflection and being attentive to God. Communion will be served, with due regard for taking care of one another, before the service closes with a blessing.
Early Morning Prayer

Please join us on Zoom at 8.00am each Sunday for a time of quiet reflection and prayer. Contact us for the link.
Evening Prayer

All welcome to join us each 2nd Monday evening from 7pm for a time of open prayer and reflection.
