Prayer & Praise Wall
Welcome to our interactive prayer wall.
We believe that prayer is powerful and that coming together in prayer as a community is a way to deepen our faith and support each other through difficult times and celebrate one another’s good stories. It is most helpful to pray with you if you include your name so please don’t be shy and let us know who you are.
The prayer wall is a simple and easy-to-use platform brought to us by Connect Prayer and supported by 24-7 Prayer, that allows you to post your prayers and to pray for others. This is an opportunity for us to come together as a community and support each other in prayer, no matter where we are in the world.
How to pray when you don’t know where to start?
You can pray anytime, anywhere. God is always listening and he wants to hear from you.
Prayer is a conversation. You don’t need fancy phrases or the right words. Just start where you are.
Chances are, if you don’t usually pray, you’re praying now because you need God’s help. That’s an ok place to begin with.
So, what to pray?
It can be as simple as “God, help me”, but there are some prayers below that might be helpful for the current Coronavirus situation. You can of course change them, and add in specific prayers for yourself and others. And after praying, you may want to pause and be still for a while.
A simple prayer for help during a difficult life situation
God, you are God, powerful and loving.
Thank you that you are a good God.
Life was not meant to be like this. You want good things for this world, and for us to live knowing you. Please help me to know your hope and peace in my life.
Where I am worried about resources, please provide what I need today, the essentials of food and housing.
Where I am worried about health of myself and others, I pray for protection and healing and access to healthcare.
Please help the isolated and vulnerable, and help me to keep my eyes and heart open to where I can help others.
Please look after me – I need your help.
Thank you God.
A prayer to say with children during a difficult situation
Jesus, you are my strength. You guard my life and you watch over me. I speak to myself and say “Be strong and confident, I will not be scared”. Thank you that you are with me wherever I go. Amen

The Lord’s Prayer
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, in Heaven
May your name be kept holy
May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
For yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory,
Forever and ever,
Amen
