BBC Kids
Welcome to BBC Kids on Sundays!
We welcome all children to our services and invite them to come and try our age-appropriate groups which are held during the 10:30am Sunday service. Before going to their groups, we invite the children to join the main service for one or two worship songs and an ‘All Age’ slot where we encourage the kids to join in with an activity or object lesson. We see this as a lovely and important moment as a church family that encourages the children to take an active role in the body of Christ.
After this short time altogether in the service, our children leave to join their various groups. We have lots of fun with a variety of energetic games, refreshments, worship, prayer, craft, quizzes, STEM activities and drama. Most importantly we have time to meet with God and have our own opportunity to be close to Him.
We also have several ‘All Age’ services throughout the year where the whole service is designed with everyone in mind - from age 0-100! They usually happen around festive times of the year like Easter or Father’s Day - these times are a great opportunity to invite friends with children who may have never come to church before.
Family Fun Events Throughout the Year…
We also hold a number of family fun events throughout the year together with our Children’s Centre such a Light Party (Halloween alternative), Pancake Day, Easter Family Fun & more! Keep an eye on our What’s On page for the next one!
