Holy Week represents the days that lead up to Easter Sunday and below you’ll find the details of all our events and services during the period of 28th March to 5th April. Some of our events, you can just turn up to and others, we ask you to book in advance.
As well as those hosted by us, we have included details of some events and services hosted by other local churches. Some are more reflective and quiet and others are celebratory and aimed at all ages. All events and services are part of telling the story of Easter and Holy Week which is full of both joy and sorrow.
Whether you are curious, new to faith or have been on the journey for some time, you are invited to participate and we look forward to welcoming you!
Events to Book
Below are three of our events where you will need to book your place ahead of time so we can plan and prepare refreshments and activities. Tickets cost a small amount but there is always a free ticket option so do book that if you need to.

Easter Family Fun
Saturday 28th March 2:30-4:30pm
Come and hear the story of the saddest day ever…and the happiest day EVER! This will be an afternoon full of fun for you and your little (and not so little) ones! Please book your place below.

Palm Sunday Celebration at the6ix
Sunday 29th March 6-7:30pm
We will be celebrating this important event in the church calendar in style and saying a big thank you to our Alpha team. Please book your place below.

Easter Sunday Breakfast & Service
Sunday 5th April 9am-12noon
Come and join us for our Easter Sunday service and a continental-style breakfast of pastries & fruit with bacon butties on the side before the service at 9am. Please book your place below.
Other Holy Week Events & Services
(No Need to Book)

We will be joined by our friends at The Gathering Church in North Leatherhead to celebrate Palm Sunday. There will be tea & coffee & cake following the service.

Holy Communion followed by Tenebrae. Tenebrae is a Latin word meaning "darkness" or "shadows". It is a traditional Christian service held during Holy Week (the days leading up to Easter, usually on Maundy Thursday or Good Friday) that commemorates the final hours of Jesus' life before his crucifixion.

A Good Friday reflective service in the churchyard at St Nicolas. Come & go every half hour or stay all 3 hours.

In addition to our 10:30am service as mentioned above, our 3pm congregation will also meet to celebrate Easter.
