Whether you're exploring preaching for the first time or have years of experience behind you, the Bookham Baptist Church Preaching Academy is designed to help you grow in confidence, skill and faithfulness as a communicator of God's Word.

This year we are delighted to open the Academy to participants from local churches with whom we are building and strengthening relationships. The Academy provides a welcoming environment where preachers from different backgrounds and levels of experience can learn together, share good practice, and encourage one another.

Through a series of practical and interactive modules, participants will explore key aspects of preaching, develop new skills and approaches, and reflect on their own preaching ministry. Sessions will combine teaching, discussion, exercises and opportunities to learn from one another's experiences.

The Academy is free to attend and is suitable for:

• Those considering preaching for the first time

• New and developing preachers looking to build confidence

• Experienced preachers wanting to refresh and deepen their practice

• Church leaders seeking to support and develop preaching gifts within their congregation

Each module can be booked individually using the sign-up forms below, allowing participants to attend the sessions most relevant to their needs.
